For Early Years practitioners working in Leeds

Mon 9 October 2023
2.30pm – 4pm
Northern Ballet, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7PA

Are you an Early Years practitioner working in a children’s centre or nursery+ in Leeds? Have you heard of the Northern Ballet’s multi-sensory projects, created specifically for children in Early Years settings?

Our Early Years projects introduce young children to dance through music, storytelling and multi-sensory play, exploring stories including:

  • We’re Going On A Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen
  • Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak
  • There Is A Tribe Of Kids by Lane Smith

We are providing a free Continuous Professional Development opportunity for Early Years practitioners working in Leeds. Aimed to give an insight into our work, the CPD consists of a presentation, and a practical session based on There Is a Tribe of Kids by Lane Smith. Practitioners will:

  • Learn how to adapt a story through role play and movement
  • Receive top tips on how to follow and encourage child-led movement

As a bonus, the first five Early Years settings to book one of our Early Years projects after attending the CPD will receive a 20% discount.*
