Associate Conductor
Daniel is the Associate Conductor of Northern Ballet, having joined the company in 2016. He has also worked with New York City Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Scottish Ballet, Sir Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and Cape Town City Ballet. In 2024, Daniel recorded six commissioned works for series three of the BBC’s Music & Meditation Podcast. The series has had over two million listens on BBC Sounds. His recent work with the BBC Concert Orchestra also included a special, dance-themed episode of Friday Night is Music Night, broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and hosted by BBC Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood.
Daniel has released two EPs of works for chamber ensemble: An American in Paris (2024) and A Simple Gift (2020). These are available on all major streaming platforms.
