Mlindi Kulashe

Dancers

Mlindi was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa where he trained at the Cape Town City Ballet and Cape Junior Ballet School. He completed his training at English National Ballet School. He has performed with Cape Town City Ballet and was awarded a Bronze Medal at the 2011 Genée International Ballet Competition. He first joined Northern Ballet in 2013 and returned for the tour of The Nutcracker on winter 2022.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa.

At what age did you start dancing?

Age 9.

Where did you train?

I started with the male development programme Saturday classes offered by Cape Town City Ballet which led me to join the Cape Junior Ballet School under Dianne Cheesman. I completed three years of training at English National Ballet School.
