Northern Ballet’s Early Years project introduces young children to dance through music, storytelling and multisensory play. It enables you to develop the confidence and skills to deliver movement activities yourself as a regular part of your work, while allowing the children to respond creatively to the exploration of a story. The project can be tailored to your needs through the package you choose which may include:
- Workshops delivered by a dance artist
- Accompanying resource pack
- Staff training twilight and/or mentoring
- Resources bundle
Sessions are based on stories such as We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. The project is available to children's centres and nurseries throughout the academic year.
