SHIFT Dance
An international research project to develop new teaching practice for dancers with learning disabilities. The study builds on dance science research from the University of Edinburgh and the University of Leeds are evaluating the impact of the project.
Burberry Inspire
An in-school programme to understand how a deep experience of the arts can have a positive effect on young people’s lives. The impact of the four-year programme is being undertaken by The Policy Institute at King’s College London.
Rise
A 10-week intervention to examine the impact of dance participation on young people’s health and wellbeing. Led by the University of Leeds, the research will focused on pupil’s body confidence, self-esteem, communication skills and resilience.
