Northern Ballet and the Musicians’ Union have a new agreement for the provision of music for the company’s touring performances.
The agreement ensures continued work for freelance musicians as part of Northern Ballet Sinfonia, primarily through live performance but also through recordings which support Northern Ballet to tour on as wider scale as possible.
Thank you to the Musicians’ Union and player representatives for continuing a dialogue with us which has led to this agreement. Northern Ballet will continue to bring the joy of dance and music to as many people as possible, and it remains our goal to perform with as much live music as possible.
