Last week, we welcomed partners and funders to Northern Ballet for a special visit behind the scenes.
It was a brilliant opportunity to share some of the latest environmental updates happening across our building and to show how we’re taking practical steps to make our home more sustainable for everyone who uses it.
A highlight of the visit was heading up to our rooftop, where we shared plans for the installation of solar panels. Once in place, the panels will transform the way we use energy across our building, helping us generate more of our own renewable electricity and reduce our reliance on energy from the grid.
Whether watching a performance, taking part in a class or enjoying time in our spaces; every time you come through our doors you’ll be part of a building that is working towards a more sustainable future.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to our amazing partners Ashden, The Linbury Trust, The Wolfson Foundation and The Headley Trust who have made it all possible, supporting our journey towards a more sustainable future.
