Dracula is back at West Yorkshire Playhouse this and next week - we first performed David Nixon's take on the immortal Count back in 2005 with David Paul Kierce as one of the leads. Kierce first got his teeth in to the role when David Nixon originally created the ballet for BalletMet, Ohio.
Here's some photos from those 2005 performances...
Excerpts from our new ballet for children, Three Little Pigs, featuring dancers Mlindi Kulashe, Teresa Saavedra-Bordes, Mariana Rodrigues, Matthew Topliss and Olivia Holland.
Three Little Pigs begins its run in Leeds in October 2013 before going on tour to venues across England & Scotland in 2014.
In a nutshell describe your job and how you got into it
I am a soloist at Northern Ballet. Being a professional dancer involves 6 days a week of taking class, rehearsing repertoire and creating new choreography.
I trained from the age of 6 and went to Central School of Ballet at the age of 16. After graduation I auditioned for David Nixon and got a place at Northern Ballet straight out of school..
