Las Hermanas/ Concerto/ Gloria

Northern Ballet brings dance history to Leeds as we perform a trio of ballets by legendary choreographer Sir Kenneth MacMillan.

Joined by stunning guest artist Zenaida Yanowsky*, former Royal Ballet Principal and winner of Best Female Dancer at the National Dance Awards 2017, the Company’s world-class dancers will showcase their exceptional abilities as they perform three exquisite ballets.

Las Hermanas is a tense psychological drama about five sisters and the consequences that follow a life of harsh repression; Gloria is inspired by Vera Brittain’s wartime memoir Testament of Youth; and Concerto is a dazzling classical piece set to music by Shostakovich.

The chance to see such works performed outside of the Capital is a rare one. Experience the unmissable with Northern Ballet.

* Zenaida Yanowsky will perform in the evening performances of Las Hermanas at Leeds Grand Theatre.

Approximate running time 2 hours
