Our incredible journey began 50 years ago today.
With just 11 dancers, Northern Dance Theatre was born in Manchester with the vision of bringing dramatic dance to audiences outside of London.
Five decades and two name changes later, we remain passionate about bringing inventive dramatic ballet to your doorstep, with three world premières to come in our 50th celebration year - Geisha, Merlin and our new children's ballet (to be announced).
