Jenna Lee

Jenna specialises in neo-classical collaborations and distinctive choreographic pieces with an array of diverse ventures to her name. Her passion for dance led her to train classically with the Royal Ballet School before dancing professionally as a Soloist with English National Ballet for 12 years. Whilst at the company she performed a variety of roles from the Lilac Fairy, to the Queen of the Willis and The Mistress in Manon. These roles enabled Jenna to nurture a keen eye for innovation and develop a vibrant choreographic style.

Leaving the company offered Jenna the opportunity to concentrate on her choreographic work. She has created bold classical pieces, with the New English Ballet Theatre commissioning her to choreograph a ballet to Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony. Last year she choreographed a new neoclassical ballet for the company, to Max Richter’s re-composition of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Jenna has choreographed two full-length narrative ballets for London Children’s Ballet, Snow White and Little Lord Fauntleroy, which were performed in London’s Peacock Theatre.

However Jenna's inventive style has meant that her work has diversified beyond classical ballet and now encompasses a variety of choreographic styles. She choreographed an acclaimed UK tour, collaborating with World Dance Champions, Flawless fusing ballet, breakdancing and acrobatics. Jenna has worked internationally on a cross-cultural project in Shanghai choreographing for 200 students across China and the UK as well as choreographing for mass-movement projects that involved over 30,000 participants from across the globe. As a choreographer she has developed a strong network of collaborators across numerous art forms, from working on music videos, notably ‘Cartwheels’ for country duo Ward Thomas, to collaborating with beat boxers in synergetic performance pieces at The London Underbelly Festival. She produced a flashmob at London’s Tower bridge to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech

Jenna's company JLee Productions provides invigorating and bespoke entertainment for corporate events, notably the LED Ballerinas offering entertainment at Kensington Place, The Savoy and One Mayfair. She has collaborated on commercial projects with numerous distinguished clients and her work has appeared on productions for ITV, Sky Arts and Channel 4. Jenna has also delivered choreographic workshops and taught all over the world including the UK, Shanghai, Dubai, Hong Kong, Beijing and Sardinia. In 2015 she offered her expertise as a ballet mentor to the finalists of the BBC's Young Dancer of the Year.
