- Four Last Songs - Created by Dutch ballet pioneer Rudi van Dantzig in 1977, Four Last Songs is a breathtaking expression of love, loss and the beauty of the human experience.
- Victory Dance - An original piece by Principal Character Artist for The Royal Ballet Kristen McNally, featuring two Northern Ballet dancers and Joe Powell-Main, a disabled dancer who uses wheels and crutches.
- Fools - A captivating twist on Romeo & Juliet based on R.L. Peteni's novel Hill of Fools, by Olivier award-winning choreographer Mthuthuzeli November.

What is the dress code?

There is no dress code but if you need some inspiration, we tend to dress as if we are going out for a nice dinner. This could be a dress, a suit, jeans and a shirt, or whatever you feel most comfortable in.

Where is the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre?

The Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre is the name of our studio theatre, located inside our headquarters in Quarry Hill.
You'll find us down the path in between Sarto and Leeds Conservatoire (look for the giant glass building with 'Northern Ballet' on!)

Yes, group bookings of up to five tickets in one order can be made.

Can I sit with my friends or group if we book tickets separately?

You have the opportunity to pick your seats when you book, so if you would like to sit with friends or a group we recommend booking your tickets to the event together.

I've never been to a ballet before, what can I expect?
-
- The pre-show reception will begin from 6.30pm and the show will start at 7.30pm. You will need to be in your seat at least 5 minutes before this.
- As you enter the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre, your ticket will be scanned and you will be directed to where you will be sitting.
- There will be an interval of approx. 15 minutes between each ballet when you can grab a drink at the bar, use the bathroom, stretch your legs or just stay put.
- You will be able to take drinks purchased at the theatre into the auditorium and the show will finish at approximately 10.30pm.
- If you arrive late to the performance, you may be asked to wait until a suitable break before taking your seats to avoid disturbing fellow audience members.
- You will also receive a complimentary programme before the show with information about each of the ballets, the creative team and extra behind-the-scenes content.

Unfortunately refunds will not be made if you cannot attend the event.

- Tickets available for those aged 18 - 30 only. Proof of age and ID will be required at the event.
- One ticket entitles you to watch Three Short Ballets at the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre on Tuesday 10 September at 7.30pm, one production programme and a complimentary drink on arrival.
- Ticket cannot be exchanged for a performance on any other day or time.
