Where were you born and raised?
In Warrington, Cheshire.
At what age did you start dancing?
At four years old.
Where did you train?
I trained at KS Dance in Warrington from the age of four up until my third year graduation in June 2015.
Which Northern Ballet roles would you most like to dance?
My favourite roles are Cathy (Wuthering Heights), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet) and Daisy (The Great Gatsby). I would love to one day take on the role of Juliet, it has so many challenges but is also a really fun and playful role.
My training highlights would definitely be securing a contract with Northern Ballet! I am also grateful for the CICB 2015 competition held in Richmond, USA which was an incredible experience and eye opener!
What do you like most about being a dancer?
There's so much! I think that being able to tell a story and create emotion without words just using your body is very special.
If you could adapt one work into a ballet what would it be?
The Secret Garden! It's my favourite film and has such a beautiful story.
What is your favourite book?
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.
What is your favourite post-show meal?
I love something nourishing and filling, maybe a bowl of brown rice or pasta with an avocado sauce, pinenuts and lots of fresh vegetables.
How do you like to relax?
I love country walks, they're so peaceful.
If you weren’t a dancer what would you be?
I would open up my own health and wellbeing cafe.
